I’ve been interested in design from the day I got my first LEGO set…way back when. My experience with kitchen and furniture design begins in London, England in the early 90s where we designed fitted and freestanding schemes from mostly German and French manufacturers. I am an unashamed modernist and truly thrive on this style. I’m a keen amateur chef so it follows that functionality plays foremost in every design I do. For me, it’s about much more than just aesthetics. I want to think about and understand the ‘nuts and bolts’ too.
Donavon has been in the wood and cupboard industry for over 20 years. As storeman, he receives and dispatches all goods. He thus plays a crucial role in bringing your kitchen to life. Donovan is married with two kids, is a weekend DJ, enjoys playing pool and is a keen cook!
Adriaan has been in the kitchen industry for over 27 years. As he started off installing kitchens he has a particular eye for attention to detail and prides himself on designing kitchens that work. Adriaan has been working for Easylife kitchens for three years. He is the proud father of twins that keep him young and active.
I have been working for ELK since 2016 and have a degree in Interior Design attained through CPUT. Through my studies and experience working in the furniture design and architecture industry, I have a firm grasp of what is aesthetically pleasing but at the same time practical. Creativity and design are in my blood, and I am fortunate to have been raised by two practical and creative people who taught me that designing sky castles are useless unless you know how to build them.
